About Xiangqi
Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.
How to Play
Move your pieces according to their specific movement rules. The General can only step one square at a time within the fortress. Mandarins can only move diagonal moves within the palace. Bishops move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, serving as powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to defeat the computer opponent.
